Southern California native, Janis began her professional journey in the world of confections. After 11 years of baking mouth-watering desserts, however, she found her passions leading elsewhere. It was her father who inspired her to channel her creativity into nail care and mentored her through the process. He taught her the key to providing great service: create something unique while placing an emphasis on detail. This fundamental concept motivated Janis to disrupt the status quo of toxin-filled nail salons by creating a safer, more sustainable, and cruelty-free environment in which to provide brilliant nail care.
